Il Palagio is a location fit for a prince and princess – a castle! Built in the 13th century and restored in the 19th century, this awe-inspiring property offers the perfect setting for a spectacularly romantic wedding. It includes a number of areas both indoor and outdoors for symbolic ceremonies and memorable photo sessions.
Guests will be rendered speechless and bridal couples emotional at this elegant, yet epic venue which truly is a wedding photographer’s dream! Areas of interest include the enchanting medieval court which is a favourite for wedding receptions and the fountain garden, a relaxed setting to enjoy aperitifs. The castle’s internal court is resplendent with soft lights, chandeliers and tables decorated with flowers and there is also a beautiful Gazebo for after dinner parties. Meanwhile the castle’s remote location means it’s suitable for celebrating and playing music late into the night.
And after the ceremony is over, the wedding couple can take a short walk to the end of the lawn, and through the iron gate to find themselves immersed within a forest of olive trees. What an everlasting memory that would be.
Wedding banquets will be provided by one of the excellent caterers that RYW work with, offering impeccable presentation and sumptuous tastes.
